Awesome Listening Experience!

I loved hearing their stories about Lovejoy and just generally new stuff I haven’t heard about Lovejoy!

Your passion, humour, and dedication make this podcast such a joy to listen to. Keep up the brilliant work — you’re doing something truly special here.

I’ve just finished listening to the second episode of your podcast, and I’m absolutely chuffed! You’ve managed to capture the same warmth, wit, and thoughtful discussion that made the first episode such a delight, while also diving into some cracking topics. It’s clear you’re all mad about Lovejoy and their journey, and that passion shines through in every moment. First off, I have to say how much I loved the personal updates at the start. Dave, your trip to Rome sounds like an absolute dream — sticking Lovejoy stickers all over the city is such a brilliant way to spread the love (and the band’s name)! And Angie, your Valentine’s Day adventure with Good Kid sounds like a proper laugh. The VIP experience, the acoustic set, and the surprise guest (Lamp!) had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. It’s so lovely to hear how much fun you had, even with the snowstorm on the way home. Leslie, your dedication to Lovejoy Band News and the postcard campaign is nothing short of inspiring. The way you’ve created a safe, positive space for fans is such a gift, and the “Cards for Concern” initiative is such a smashing idea. It’s heartwarming to hear how much it meant to fans (and their parents!) during a tough time. The Summerfest announcement was the highlight of the episode for me. Angie, your excitement is infectious! Headlining the Miller Lite Oasis Stage is such a massive milestone for Lovejoy, and I can’t wait to see how they smash it. The fact that it’s the world’s largest music festival makes it even more brilliant. I’m already picturing the crowd belting out “Call Me What You Like” under the summer sky. And the Arctic Monkeys connection? Absolutely spot on. Lesley, your reflections on the one-year anniversary of Lovejoy Band News were so touching. The way you’ve built this community and supported fans during a tricky time is truly remarkable. The postcard campaign, the #LoveForLovejoy, and the friendships you’ve formed along the way are such a testament to the power of music and fandom. It’s clear this project means the world to you, and it’s been such a joy to follow along. I’m honestly gobsmacked by how much thought and care you put into every aspect of this podcast. It’s not just about sharing news or discussing the band — it’s about creating a space where fans can connect, celebrate, and feel like they’re part of something special. And Lesley’s suggestion for more affordable merch like keychains, patches, and city-specific posters is bang on.
